Keep it a game

Free to play, 18 and over

These machines take their look, their sound and their timing from the real thing, deliberately. That is why Umber Dock is for adults over the legal gambling age and is not directed at anyone under 18. You are asked to confirm it, as a tick, when the account is made.

What you will never find here

• Real-money gambling, offered or promoted.
• A prize that is worth anything away from here.
• Coins on sale, or purchases of any kind.
• A link to any gambling operator or affiliate.
• Countdowns or streaks put there to pull you back.

The honest part

A game that costs nothing can be tuned to feel generous, and it refills your float for free. Real-money machines do neither of those. Success here is no indication of anything with a stake behind it.

Signs that matter

• Playing a good deal longer than intended.
• Becoming irritable on stopping.
• Opening it to get out of a mood.
• It is costing you sleep, work or company.
• Catching yourself hunting for a real-money version.

Keeping it in hand

• Set the clock before you begin rather than once you are in.
• Autoplay stays off.
• Break regularly.
• Clear this site's data and everything resets; block the site in your device settings to stop altogether.
